Last post of the year...It's been an odd one but overall I'm pretty happy and when it comes down to it, that's all that matters. I've returned to two things I love doing in life, surfing and snowboarding. It's given me an even greater appreciation for my home state, California. I mean where else can you have 70 degree Winters and go from this...
to this...
in a matter of hours?
Thank you to those that have supported and cared for me through this year. My love for you is never ending. Here's to a brighter year for us all!
Since the first time I saw Winona Ryder aka Veronica in Heathers whip out her monocle to rant in her diary, I have been obsessed with the idea of having one.
This obsession has become even greater as I learn the trade of a goldsmith. Rather than a loupe a lovely monocle hanging from my neck makes much more sense to me. I may have to purchase.
I have a thing for skulls, always have. When I saw photos of Dior's "Coffret de Victore" collection for Fall it was instant love. Victoire de Castellane is pretty much genius.
If anybody has a few thousand spare dollars laying around and would like to purchase any of the following for me, you'd have a friend for life!
My favorite holidays are upon us, Halloween and Dia De los Muertas. There's just something about this time of year along with the meaning and celebratory feeling of the two holidays I just love. Carving pumpkins, thinking of and maybe not always following through with extravagant costume ideas, giving honor to those that are no longer with me, all things that bring a little extra joy to my life.
So here's what just might be the best Halloween song...also was a big fave back in my Helter Skelter and Perversion days.
With Winter around the corner, cozy loveliness such as mukluks become quite appealing. Just not sure I can get past the whole rabbit fur thing. This could be why for years I've never been able to bring myself to purchase them.
